Our Story
Four Square Shipping & Logistics Pvt Ltd (FSSLPL) is a premier logistics service company which has recently entered into an alliance with the Central Warehousing Corporation of India as a Strategic Alliance and Management Operator of the CWC – CFS, Container Freight Station at 18 Coal Dock Road, Kolkata 700043. This CFS is situated right in the heart of Khidderpore Dock area Kolkata and is joint venture consortium amongst Kolkata’s leading Logistics and trading enterprises viz.- Tuberose Logistics Pvt Ltd. and Mercantile Logistics.
As a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) understanding, FSSLPL is exclusively in charge of the entire marketing, operations and commercial services at the CFS complex. Objectives include operations and Management of CFS/ICD and Marketing to achieve optimum levels of capacity utilization and offer cost-effective, value added service to the customers.
The CFS managed by FSSLPL is spread over a total area of nearly 10 acres distributed between covered, open and bonded sections. The CFS is a modern-day facility with paved area, warehouse storage capacity in excess of 125000 square feet, in house trailer weighment facility, Customs Appraisement, upto date heavy duty equipment like reach stackers and forklifts.
The CFS is equipped to manage Direct port Delivery containers and also has over 25 reefer plug points for refrigerated containers. Upto date container tracking systems with RFID, 24×7 security and surveillance, online customer integration are only some of the operational benefits provided to importers, exporters and CHAs. As a SAMO operator, FSSLPL aims to provide the service recipients with the efficacy of private enterprises.
